She looked totally hot on stage, Jen. You've seen the pics?
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
I've seen one, linked from your LJ, I think. With the picture of MS next to her where Ben had been sitting. She's just... I mean, really.

Pretty much, yeah. I'm not gonna let myself watch until I finish packing. Which means I shoudl do that.
I think I'm a wee bit more articulate now. The reason I can't reach the position that PU was a parody is that I don't know what it was a parody of. Wormhole Xtreme? Parody. Jack -- often parody, and not always embarassing. I need a target. And then I needed anyone to be acting like themselves. That wasn't an episode of Stargate, really. Could have been Andromeda or many others. I had no point of reference.
Agree that it felt very un-Stargate. Prometheus (the ship) kind of feels that way to me in general. It's the team interaction that feels Stargate to me, and that, again, was lacking. And actual gate travel and such. Maybe I'm just change-resistant. It's... they're usually the ones hi-jacking the alien ship, not trying to rescue an earthship (because, earthship?) from an alien. Or somthing like that. I don't know. It was weird .
She's very pretty, though. And, for that matter, so is he.
But, and here rests my fondest hope, I like to think that bringing Ben Browder in next year will mean a return to a team. That travels through the stargate. Together. And fights crime. Ya' know??
I really don't think I ask for much.
ETA: Not all of that needed whitefont.
I thought the episode where Sam was on the Prometheus, hallucinating, was the Stargatiest of the ship eps. Otherwise they do tend to the Trek.

Yep, because even though they were figments, the ol' gang was there. And interacting. Plus, OK, I'm a bit of a sucker for a good Jack/Sam moment.

It seemed like a parody of Farscape to me, with Daniel as John Crichton, and CB going back and forth between Aeryn and Chianna. I mean, in addition to the homage to the pilot ep, the whole having everything go to hell while trying to make a deal with odd looking aliens happened pretty much every other episode on Farscape. How many times have we ever seen totally random aliens in the Gateverse?
Anyway, I enjoyed the hell out of it, despite the ease with which Hammond lost the ship.
Fic posted. Thunder Follow Me, Daniel and Janet and Goa'uld and Jaffa and a Stargate version of The Great Escape. But no Steve McQueen. R for violence, P for plot.
SG-1 S9 casting spoiler: Amanda Tapping will appear in 15 of 20 episodes next year.
