Ahhhh, good for him with the having of a successful series. I haven't yet watched JoA, but I'm glad to hear that. Michael Welch. I like. But, yeah, availability would be a thing, I guess. Ah, well.

It'll be funny to see him back in the role, because he grew, like, a foot taller in the last two years.

Was Barrett incompetent? I misremember. I like the idea of him being at odds with the oh-so-insular SG-1/General Jack clique. And then some reluctant respect building. But with lots of snark.

Not so much in that earlier episode with Sam, the title of which I forget, but in that episode MS wrote and AT directed? With the girl-Goa'uld in the cage and the evil scientist and stuff? He was pathetic. Like, the worst interrogator, ever. I was all, "If I had a cat, my cat would be a better interrogator than Agent McTwirlypants over there." Maybe it wasn't his fault, because that episode sucked in general (no offense to MS or AT, but kids, don't quit your day job.)

I like the *idea* of a character like that though, except a little darker. Barrett gave good snark and had some sparkage with Sam, but he was kind of a lightweight.

I like SG1, but i haven't seen a full episode all season. not because i didn't want to, but because i never remember when it is on.

here's hoping we get a meta response to the Shanks/Browder history.

I think the best part of the squee has been the Farscape people saying "crap, does this mean I have to watch Stargate now?"
