Don't worry, quester. It's on again at least twice.
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
So true.
I'm thinking of staying up late to watch Waking the Dead to, you know, cleanse the palette.
I can't believe he said "I brought you into this world, I can take you out again, too."
Bill Cosby's old routine flashed through my head.
Ugh. 40 minutes in and Shawn Ashmore has already burned through all the goodwill I bore him for 2 X-Men movies. Danny Glover hasn't embarrassed himself, but I hope for his sake he wasn't familiar with the source material (and thus able to see how his emplyers have butchered it).
It was physically embarrassing to watch Isabella Rossellini on TDS last week, so cheerfully shilling for the show. I wanted to take her aside and give her a talking to.
Oh, dear. I tried to watch. I got about three minutes in and my brain began to melt.
They call him Ged! ::weeps::
Maybe if I didn't know the original. Maybe if I hadn't just reread most of the series.
::shudder::
Episode 10 of Spooks just appeared, if that helps.
I saw, and am aheming as we type.
Maybe if I didn't know the original.
I've never read the original. It wasn't any better.
Plus it has all those "Hey, it's that guy" moments because of all the Canadian actors. The toadying general is the guy who played Gerentex on Andromeda. And it was driving me nuts trying to figure out who the woman was that Ged was summoning, until I looked at IMDb and discovered it was Amanda Tapping.
Why did they decide that "Sparrowhawk" was better as his "true" name and "Ged" better as his call name?
It was a change that made no sense since they kept the "true" name concept.
It's like they just randomly changed whatever they wanted.
