Art Crawl!!!

Did you guys notice (because I didn't) that after Clark heats up the potion to, what was it? 2000 Kelvin? Lex just reaches in and picks up a test tube?

Also, I suddenly thought, while walking home, that the story of Chloe's search for her mother and finding her in the insane asylum would have made a nice Chloe-centric episode. .. in a show where they might actually do that sort of thing. You know, rather than blurting it all out as an aside in this episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He heated it to a thousand Kelvin, and then the magic coolerator dropped it down to ... 300, IIRC. So it was touchable.

Art Crawl!!!

There was a magic cooler?

I really wasn't paying enough attention.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They showed the temperature digits dropping right back down afterwards -- initially I'd thought that it meant Kent hadn't heated them up long enough, but it all seemed to work out.

OMFG it's the wrong episode. Kill me now.

ETA: And if I had just gone back upthread to verify the ep number, I'd have gotten it right. Stupid, stupid. But instead I counted. And wrong, apparently.

OK, whatever. Back I go.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Jen, go here: [link] and choose downloads by "LOL" for best results.

Thanks, Daniel. I had remembered that user because it worked so well with Lost (gracias), so I was all happy about that, and then I picked 1.10 instead of 1.11. Ummm. Yeah. NSM.

And you all even said ep 11 upthread. Which, had I double-checked before downloading... it's just sad, really. But, hey, I'm at 2% with the right ep now. Woo?

Jen, If you are using any client with the default settings, change them. A lot of the big guns with high bandwidth block the default ports, because the groups who are anti-downloading would know what they are.

Therefore to get better speed in a client, if you have a place to put a single port to put in the prefs, I use any number between, say 40,000 to 60,000 or my zip code, or someone else's zip code. And if it's a range I use the span I just referred to, and check randomize if that's available.

I've found that on some torrents it makes a difference.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

111 and 112 are on my hard drive. With any luck, 113 and 114 will be there by the time I get home tonight.

Plus, a pal burned dvds of the entire run of Odyssey 5 for me. And I have Alias season 1.

Damn, I'm never leaving the house again, am I?

Hee. Consuela, dude, you are set.

I saw 11 and liked very much. OK, and REALLY REALLY DANGEROUS. DO NOT TOUCH -- McKay cracked me up. That, and "He'll be the one getting rid of the other dots." was also good. I'm sorry, but I'm seeing Sheppard/Weir. Am I supposed to be? I don't know. But I am. Also, I am not happy about curly-cue girl not going back through the gate. I don't like her. And speaking of which, Teyla is a dummy and should have shot curly-cue when she lowered her gun to aim it at Beckett. The knife fight was lame.

ETA: It's spelled Sheppard? I am having trouble remembering that.
