Biggest priority should be moving "Smallville" to 9 on Wednesday to get it away from "Lost" and to feed off of viewers looking for good drama after the ABC skein ends.
Returning drama "Summerland" would work nicely as "Smallville's" lead-in;
That's not going to help if they do end up moving Alias to that slot, as rumored. Though I'm betting more people will be watching Lost than Alias.
Summerland is returning? That was the one with Lori Loughlin, right? Huh.
And why the fuck does Variety keep using the word "skein"? It's a show, peoples. IT'S A SHOW. You don't have to be pretentious about it.
Variety is all about the pretentious Variety-speak.
Most of the ep bores me, but Shank's "Oh, god!" when RDA delivers the line about maybe having been captured to impregnate the ladies cracks me up.
And I say Shanks and RDA, just because it seems so visceral -- no idea if it was improv, but the idea charms.

Ah. I haven't seen it yet. Tivo should have caught it last night. I'm slowly catching the S6 and S7 episodes I never saw.
I watched a bunch of Roswell episodes at a friend's house. You know what? So much more enjoyable than I had remembered. I was surprised.
Oh, and remember how bad Michael's hair was in Season 2 onward?
Well, apparently, the Michael actor came back from hiatus after season 1 with this horrible haircut but HE thought it was his best hair ever and refused to change it.
(I loved his horrible hair, but then again, I loved Michael's horrible hair on Nikita, so I may have a Michael-escape-clause in effect)
