Yeah, I'm not so invested in SGA that it's worth it to BT the new ones. It's worth it for Spooks because of the long delay and A&E's edits; SGA? NSM.
Vonnie, speaking of BT, do try Azureus. Much preferable to any other BT client I've tried.
'Origin'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Thanks Suela. I'll try Azureus--I've beenl using Bit Tornado, which has been working sort of grudgingly with occasional glitzes (which I suspect has more to do with my wonky wireless connection, but it may also be the client working up.)
Yeeeah, I'm sad to say I've not been impressed with DeKnight's work on Smallville.
Also, Clark's hair is invulnerable? How the fuck has he been getting his hair cut all these years?

In the comics he would shave by using his heat vision bounced off a mirror. Or he could go under a red sun lamp if he wanted a perm.
They could put a wee bit of kryptonite on the blades.
I guess he could just go to SuperCuts.

I thought that was pretty silly too.

Why must you hurt me?

It is canon, though, isn't it? IIRC, the powers came on gradually, at least in one incarnation.
So is the magic thing, but they didn't need to make it look so dumb.

I guess. If not, one tussle with a supervillain and Supes would be asking Lex for fashion pointers. Though, in the same line, decency rules aside, I'm always amazed how Supes can get with a destructo-wave that could level a mountain and his spandex only gets a couple tears in it.

I think John Byrne posited a super-invulnerable aura that protects things really close to him, including his costume.
