Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Art Crawl!!!

See, it upset me so much -- his serious lack of real super-villainy that I doubleposted.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Okay, I watched my tape of Highlander "The Gathering" and now I'm thinking that they intended Richie to be an Immortal all along -- esp. after reading the synopses of the 2nd episode where he is searching for his "real" parents.

It's never made clear on the show, and if I remember correctly it's one of those things that behind-the-scenes stories on differ. It's always seemed likely to me, though.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I always figured it was in the plan because of the way Duncan and Connor both respond to Richie in the pilot. It's definitely there.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, that's what I got -- that they sensed him before he was there and then Connor makes some comment about "watching the boy".

Now, I really don't get why my friend (who turned me onto both Highlander and Buffy) thinks that Richie becoming an Immortal was the Jump the Shark moment.

I am still at the moment dazed and glassy-eyed from shirtless, dirty and crazy Lex. I hardly even noticed what happened in the rest of the show. Guhhhh.

Mmmmm. Lex.

Actually, I wasn't as let down as I expected to be - except for the bits with Helen and Lionel. Sville can't do villians to save their lives. Super!Bo wasn't as craptacular as I expected. Besides squealing for almostnaked!Lex I also bounced up out of my chair for voice of Terance Stamp (I know he's been on the show before - but I re-watched the Limey recently and am in lurve with him). Also happy to see Classic!Drew in the credits at the end. (Executive Story Editor - like that means anything - but still.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, another dumb thing about paying for the $240,000 car with cash? In the real world, all cash transactions above $10K get reported to the IRS, unless the dealership is crooked, too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why couldn't Lionel find him? The boy's leaving fingerprints everywhere, for a start.

Art Crawl!!!

I know!

Plus the Metropolis Police have the same stupidity/denial thing going that the Sunnydale police did.

I love how shooting at Kal produced feathers everywhere. Is that a Kryptonian thing? They didn't hit that many pillows.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Clark was following the standard rules for a WB bad girl - wear leather or slutgear, drink, dance in clubs, want-take-have, etc. But only Faith actually sleeps with anyone.

I am wondering if Lionel was just keeping Lex hidden on the family island with an employee to watch over him and duck out at the last minute until he could announce his "death" and draw out whomever he considered responsible for the plane crash.
