I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Finally watched Smallville. Agree with it being much better than expected. As for Lionel showing his hand so early I think he was both frustrated by not being able to exert the influence he used to and exilerated by both being in a healthy young body and in one with super powers.

I'm also glad that the original plan was for Lionel to switch bodies with Lex as when I saw the previews last week I was sitting there scratching my head going why Clark?

Bellman in AYNOHYEB. That's where I know him from.

I had the same reaction when I read that page.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I watched the SG-1 Episode "48 Hours" where Teal'c is trapped in the Stargate, and they bring in McKay for the first time.

Man he has improved. I think he was just being pissy about Lemon Chicken, I don't think he really has a citris allergy.

However, he mentions Hypoglycemia. And he again mentions it in Atlantis, plus, he is often seen eating and was very very worried when he had the shield on and couldn't.

I'm even more convinced he has Type II diabetes, and it's early in the onset. He's probably one of those lucky bastards that can control it with just diet and exercise. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he brought along a years worth of Avandia. (Makes the insulin that is produced by the pancreas more readily absorbed by the cells of the body)

Thrive to spite them

At some point during Atlantis he brings up the citrus allergy at some point when the locals were going to give them something to eat.

I still wonder if it is as bad as he says, mostly because that bad an allergy for something so common is a pretty bad handicap.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have a feeling that McKay is "allergic" to citrus in much the same way I was "allergic" to Brussels Sprouts as a child.

I'm even more convinced he has Type II diabetes, and it's early in the onset. He's probably one of those lucky bastards that can control it with just diet and exercise.

It would be interesting if they actually did something with this in the series.

Stargate SG-1 Season 8 Help Needed! I thought I had taped both the premieres (SG-1 & Atlantis), but upon viewing the tape- not so much. Only got Atlantis & the last 2 minutes of SG-1 (grrr!). Any help with the SG-1 premiere would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to borrow a tape, trade for ?, pay postage, whatever. I don't have cable & only just watched Season 7 on DVD, now I'm eager to try to get caught up on Season 8 (which I have on tape- I hope). Profile addy good. Crossposting in When Come Bring Tape because I'm desperate.

Art Crawl!!!

And yeah (about my post before that)-- don't know how they'll work around it effectively, you know?
