According to a Sooper Seekrit Source, the DVD release will include an extra hour and a half. (And based on what I've heard will be in that hour an a half, should answer many of the questions that the TV version does not.)
I didn't even consider that there would be a dvd. i am now squeeing. thanks for that. now off to watch ep 19.
So I enjoyed Smallville. Again, another
lame kryptonite-based plot
but it had it's moments. And the facial expressions between Clark and Lois during the
get the bag
scene were hysterical. I really like the facial expressions Erica Durance makes as Lois in general. As dubious as
their way of keeping her around
was
I'm disappointed to see her go.
My big problem is with Clark telling Chloe
he's not interested
and Lois
leaving
that we're going to get another season of Clark
pining after Lana
which has already gotten way too old.
Oh, that was so gay. All is, for now, forgiven. They had me at Lex in the locker room of half-dressed high school students. Talking oh-so-subtly to Clark.
Then there was the touching
break-up scene
-- that started in the "Fortress of Solitude" and wound-up wherever it was that
Lex
had the
Porsche.
(Was that in the mansion?)
Yeah, that was his secret room.
Have we changed the whitefonting here? I thought it was until it'd aired on the west coast?
I wasn't sure -- so I didn't white font and then I did.
A piece from the Salt Lake City Weekly bemoaning the state of genre tv and talking about the campaign to get
Farscape
back.
From the article:
Lo and behold, however, the geeks have prevailed: Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars (Sci-Fi; premieres Sunday, Oct. 17), a four-hour two-part miniseries wrapping up the loose ends and possibly setting the stage for a regular-series comeback, exists only because of rabid, grassroots fan efforts.
Is a comeback even a remote possibility? My impression from some of the news on the miniseries is that this is definitely it.
I was surprised by the "comeback" mention myself.
I would be surpremely astonished if Farscape came back in a television format. Everything I hear is that Henson is looking for a way to continue the franchise, but that it's likely to be movies or something with the current cast.
Which is not to say there isn't room in that universe (Ben's quip about blowing up the galaxy notwithstanding) for other stories to be told about other people -- the Nebari, the Luxans, Peacekeeper rebels like Velorek all strike me as areas rich with narrative possibility. But I think the cast is probably ready to move on to other work.
This is me, reading between the lines. No inside information supports this.
