Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I just heard Plei's squee of excitement.

I do read Boxed Set.

Of course, I also read various Smallville related spoilers from time to time, and knew this one, and may end up being like a lame traditional comic geek about it, which is to say, actually kind of growly and defensive. I will point out, in my defense, that I'm a bigger fan of the Big Bopper than Buddy Holly the Flashfam than Big Blue, and more likely to take issue with changes.

ION, Smallville -related, I read via Yahoo (I think) that they had hoped to bring Christopher Reeve back this season, but scheduling conflicts with a movie he was filming had prevented him from returning.

(I appear to have this desire to randomly spoiler font non-spoilery things today.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's interesting choice of what to whitefont, sumi.

eta: Heh.

Um, should I have whitefonted that?

Because -- it's not going to happen now. (The Christopher Reeve appearance.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think if it was happening, especially considering recent events, it would warrant whitefont.

As is (was), I spent a while trying to work out what else the whitefont could have been -- since I don't italicise TV show titles, it never occurred to me it was a tag switch.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm wondering whether subbed Margot Kidder for Reeve in the proposed episode.

As in, an upcoming episode, or the one we already saw?

Upcoming. (I would guess.)

Of course, they may have intended him for the premiere. That would make sense.

I actually rather enjoyed Stargate: Aquarium. It's possible that there was too much happening, too fast, for me to notice any flaws. Time will tell. Also, bonus points for use of a Scottish accent.
