What I can remember of the promo (between going "Dear God, this episode is going to suck!"):
Narrator blabs something about the women of Smallville being seduced by the latest way to get a better body. Flashes of Lois, Lana and some other random girls getting put into something that looks like clear plastic form-fitting wiffle coffin with green tubes coming off of it. Shots of Clark looking perplexed or worried or constipated, not sure which. Shot of Lana with blindfold. Shot of Lana wearing blindfold being kissed by random blond chick. Some character or another shouting about something to do with something, but apparently it's very bad. Cut to title splash with the words "kryp/tuck" under it. Cut to viewing audience dry-heaving.
Heh. I'm sure Mejia's quaking in his boots after that little write-up.
Oh god. And yet today I think we actually saw Clark
get a clue.
And thanks for the write-up!
Oh, I liked tonight's episode. My wretching was solely directed at the promo for next week.
You're welcome.
I liked tonight's episode too -- it was fun and I'm glad
that they didn't make the whole mystery of Chloe's death long and drawn-out.
Huh. It looks like David Marciano (Ray V.) is on tonight's episode of CSI: NY.
Hey,
Smallville
wasn't that bad. Weird. It was pretty good, for
Smallville.
And yaaaaaay,
Chloe!
I thought it was cute that they had David Marciano as a
ratcatcher
.
I was snerking at that as well, sumi. I just wish that they'd had a scene with him interacting with Melina Kankaredes. That could have been amusing (still amused that her character is named "Stella.")
God, I love Jon Stewart. He's so damned funny.
I'm (now more rapidly) working my way through Fascape, and I just watched "Won't Get Fooled Again". Holy-
Restless
-on-Meth, Batman. This show kicks ass.
I've gotta go find some of the inital fan reaction. On the commentary, they were talking about people being squicked not only by the
Oedipus
scene, but by the possibly implied
"all this is stuff that John has fantasized about at some point"
which I completely did not get in my "reading" of it.
I am torn between cleaning and watching the next disc.
