"Come on! Look at you. You got that bed head thing going on, which McKay's probably got something to do with. You're tall, lean and you sound drunk a lot of the time. Hell, son, you're making me horny!"

Oh yeah, the interactions (mostly Sheppard/McKay and McKay/anyone, really) are just adorable. Who knew McKay would turn out to be such a joy?

I kind of warmed up to him a little bit more at the end, on SG1, but I just *love* him on Atlantis. Can´t imagine him not being there.

And thanks for the welcome, JenP.

(I´m still trying to get the hang of these different font sizes and... stuff, so if I post something that makes absolutely no sense... well, you´ve been warned.)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I think that the Aquarium people are not slashable because they spend all day standing around in track suits. It is a lot harder to see someone as sexy if he is wearing a track suit, and that goes double if he does not eventually take the track suit off to reveal incredibly short shorts.

Greetings, Mia. You have the same name as my cat.

Suela, was it you with the "black t-shirt" theory? When all else fails, put your military people in black t-shirts, and use the camera to hide the fact that, profession-wide, they tuck their pants into their socks.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ordering info for VividCon DVDs.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

One thing I learned at Vividcon: The song is "Funk Soul Brother," not "Funk's Your Brother." Who knew? Not me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee. I had the same revelation a few months ago. I'm still kind of disappointed, though I'm not sure exactly why.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Actually the song is "The Rockafeller Skank" by Fatboy Slim, but I misheard the lyric originally too as "Funk so rubber."

I so want Teyla to learn the joys of the ponytail.

Sigh.

Some warrior woman. Sheesh.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Consuela, Do a search for a codec called 3ivx. if it's there, move it to somewhere else. Your documents folder or something.

Divx and 3ivx sometimes conflict.

Daniel, I have 3ivx but it's, yes, somewhere else. Not with Divx.

I uninstalled the Nimo Codec pack and now I get good video on the .avi files, but still no audio.

All is well that ends in pizza.

It just can't be in the same codec area.

Maybe you need a new audio codec?

And where can I get a sample video of one you have issues with to play?
