Am I alone in thinking that the Atlantis characters are un-slashable? Seriously, I can´t do it. Sheppard and Ford are already acting like bickering brothers, so can´t slash them. Sheppard and McKay... nah, I don´t see it. McKay and Beckett..? But I want to slash Sheppard, damn it!

Yeah, I haven't seen much slash potential, which would probably improve my viewing experience, alas.

I prefer to view the show as an opportunity for Sheppard to have hot dreams about Sam, and for Ford to look at him wistfully.

Maybe if they behave.

I think McKay and Beckett have the most slash potential, except they'd probably bicker in bed about who goes on on whom first, then McKay would complain about his back or something, Beckett would roll his eyes, then they'd decide sex is too much trouble and instead go off to play the Playstation or whatever is equivalent in Atlantis.

I agree Sheppard and Ford have chemistry together, but totally the sibling-kind.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oddly, the only real flickers of chemistry I've seen are between--yes, I know this is weird--Weir and McKay. Don't ask me, I don't know. It's not that they have the screaming sexy fire, but they do seem comfortable with each other, in a head-butting kind of way.

I'm not seeing any real romance sparkiness between any of them ... even where they're trying. Teyla? Nuh-uh. But I love so many of the interactions they've got going ("I shot him!"). McKay and anyone. Or just alone. I adore that he never actually warmed to the children last week. I mean, yeah, didn't want them to get hurt ... but once all was said and done? Sicced 'em on someone else. Excellent.

ita's still mad from last week. Heh. They really were ill-behaved.
