Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

All is well that ends in pizza.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

IIRC, the canon is that Barry Allen and Iris West somehow wound up living in the 30th century for a time, where they had two children, Dawn and Don Allen, who both inherited Barry's powers. Dawn Allen had a daughter, Jenni Ognats, who became XS in the Legion, while Don had a son, Bart, who then was sent back in time to now. Both Jenni and Bart also inherited Barry's powers, through their parents.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I wonder if the accident mentioned involved kryptonite. It would certainly be a major departure from canon, but not from Smallville.

There a whole bunch of stuff about the Flash canon here.

I think Stargate is my favourite crack!fic these days, so I thank and curse you for those recs.

Heee. The Bright Shiny Objects Stargate recs are very good, I find. My standing recommendations for everything-they-write: our own Katie_M, Salieri (Troyswann on LJ), Otter (Agentotter on LJ), Tripoli (Tempe on LJ). Also Destina and Anna S for the slash, Nanda, Nostalgia, and CGB (mandysbitch on LJ) for the het, Rheanna for some great early gen adventures, and Danvers for the wacky. And Maayan for the unclassifiable-but-brilliantly-written.

"You died well in battle, O'Neill." "That thing's defective." Heh.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, didn't Dr. Lee start out as an archeologist ? I find it particularly annoying for Stargate to do TV science since it has actual specialized scientists . Hmph.

You mean like Col. Carter? Daniel Jackson?

Just what Stargate needed - a holodeck malfunction...
