Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

I ADORE BECKETT !!!!

And ... "We're in another galaxy. How much more out can you get?"

And I'm turining off the asscaps and enthusiastic punctuation now.

I liked it. Has potential.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Ya know, the way the Wraith kill people is exactly what Count Rugen was doing in the Pit of Despair .

Totally. Except I think poor RP is all, rather than mostly, dead. t sniff

Except on science fiction TV shows, most deaths are only mostly deaths, especially if you don't bring the body back with you.

Art Crawl!!!

I suppose that the really really scary Wraiths that we don't even know what they look like much less what they're powers are could do something about this thing.

Exactly! They are a clean slate. There's no continuity yet. The writers can do whatever they damn well please .

All is well that ends in pizza.

I guess I was expecting more west coast post and watch.

I think it just started there?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

No, it just finished, but watch-and-post doesn't really work from the west coast in my experience. Alas.

I'm afraid I cannot join in the Beckett love; I spent five minutes trying to figure out who he sounded like, five minutes thinking "holy crap, he really does sound just like Pippin!" and the rest of the time wanting him to go away. Sorry. But so long as he never calls Sam or anyone vaguely similar to her a dumb blonde again, I think I can manage to forget that incident and climb on the McKay love train. He and Weir had nice chemistry, I thought. (Not in the shippy way, you understand.)

Sheppard I may or may not like. We'll see how his interactions with Weir go; I have very little patience for Cocky Man Shows Controlling Woman The Error Of Her Ways. But on the other hand, he was pretty charming some of the rest of the time.

And Jack and Daniel were so adorable I love them so much.
