Art Crawl!!!

I know. . . it's so sad.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Except on science fiction TV shows, most deaths are only mostly deaths, especially if you don't bring the body back with you.

Art Crawl!!!

I suppose that the really really scary Wraiths that we don't even know what they look like much less what they're powers are could do something about this thing.

Exactly! They are a clean slate. There's no continuity yet. The writers can do whatever they damn well please .

All is well that ends in pizza.

I guess I was expecting more west coast post and watch.

I think it just started there?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

No, it just finished, but watch-and-post doesn't really work from the west coast in my experience. Alas.

I'm afraid I cannot join in the Beckett love; I spent five minutes trying to figure out who he sounded like, five minutes thinking "holy crap, he really does sound just like Pippin!" and the rest of the time wanting him to go away. Sorry. But so long as he never calls Sam or anyone vaguely similar to her a dumb blonde again, I think I can manage to forget that incident and climb on the McKay love train. He and Weir had nice chemistry, I thought. (Not in the shippy way, you understand.)

Sheppard I may or may not like. We'll see how his interactions with Weir go; I have very little patience for Cocky Man Shows Controlling Woman The Error Of Her Ways. But on the other hand, he was pretty charming some of the rest of the time.

And Jack and Daniel were so adorable I love them so much.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I think I recently read someone say she was zen with Stargate and I totally just copycatted.

That is likely to be me.

This was... okay. But you know? It really is Voyager. Sigh. Except now Shepherd's got his own version of SG-1 to lead on trips through the gate? Oy.

Loved the snark about "Chevron 1 encoded," though. That gets old very fast.

It's entirely too convenient that Shepherd can fly all the ships and they can READ and USE the Ancients' technology. I want someone to mistake a microwave for a bathroom, or something. I also want interpersonal difficulties, particularly if they're from a dozen nations.

And I think all the costumers should be fired, except for the one who bought everything off the rack at The North Face. She can stay. The rest must go.

Oh, and the Wraith? Silly-looking. Especially with their tendency to howl. Oy.

Oh, and the native guy that people recognized? He played a character in, oh, crap, the one last year with the bubble city where people's memories were getting written over, the name of which I cannot now remember. And I think he may have been in one earlier episode as well, but I'm not sure.

I want someone to mistake a microwave for a bathroom, or something.

And then I want McKay to laugh, and laugh, and laugh...

's'okay. More for me and sumi.

I had a bit of the same reaction about Sheppard and

Cocky Man Shows Controlling Woman The Error Of Her Ways

during the balcony scene. But I don't think that's where they're headed, ultimately. I hope.

New Weir is slowly making me forget that I'd rather see Old Weir in the role. McKay was good, if played a little over-snippy while explaining the sheild collapse - but, hey, danger can make a person overly snippy. I like his exchanges with Beckett. And Weir.

Yeah, costuming. Oh well.

I see decent potential. I liked. At the base, there seem to be enough good intereaction pairings that I'll stay tuned to see what they can do with the show.

It's the zen thing, which phrasing I shall now properly attribute to 'Suela.
