Joe Coffey.
Another thing I remember about that is that the actor had a twisted sense of humor, and invited his family and friends over to watch that particular episode.
He did not tell them or hint in any way that his character was being killed off.
Heh. The one time my aunt got to see my cousin film a scene in a movie (Beverly Hills Cop 3), he was shot by Eddie Murphy, pushed out of the getaway vehicle, and then run over by Murphy's car. (Okay, the last part was a dummy, but still.)
I keep having this conversation with my mother:
"ita, I think I saw that friend of yours on TV."
"Was he having sex with another man?"
"Yes!"
"Yeah, that's Colin."
But, no longer!
Does Jamaican TV not air More tales from the City, where he was one of the two men that weren't?

Heh. She hasn't gotten that far yet.
His other major streaks were "really bad pants" and "retro music management".
My mother? Always caught the boy on boy.
Bless him.
I keep having this conversation with my mother:
Have you seen that promo for Coupling? With the rotating bed thing?

It's fun, isn't it?
Let's just say, Colin's no Kerr Smith.
I'm still puzzling over that promo. Not that I'm ungrateful, mind you, but have I been such a hermit that I've missed footage of men in bed together going from a network executive's worst nightmare to a workable selling point for a show?
Whoa. I wish I'd seen Summit pt 2 (Last Stand?) with "Proving Ground" in mind. Also, after the one where Martouf died.
Huh. Why?
(Oh, and Emily: Yes, goes undercover, but there's an incredibly unfortunate outfit involved. On the plus side, he and Jacob have good snark.)

Going from seeing the slash to seeing it promo'd is... odd.
But a Very Good Thing.
