That episode had a couple of really evil SFnal ideas in it. I like it that the creators really get the possibilities inherent in the genre -- there is that Sense of Wonder that runs through this series that makes it very cool to me.

Andromeda
used to have that, too. Along with characterization and plotting....

Yeah, the folks at SG are pretty good at taking genre tropes and putting a new spin on them. One of my favorite episodes that did this was "A Matter of Time" from season 2--I mean, gating to a black hole! It's such a nifty idea. Plus, relativity! Carter on a full-on problem solving mode! On top of that, it had some great Jack characterization stuff via the introduction of Cromwell. It's just an all-around cool episode.
I find the Visjinic mulls Elektra part news a tad more interesting.
Visnjinic AND Terrance Stamp.
Oh, curse him. Now I'll have to go see it.
Hey, Garner, Goran, Stamp and Rob Bowman? Sounds like it might actually be good.
There was also an article about NBC possibly picking up a spin-off of Van Helsing . . .
Garner and Visnjic getting hot and heavy?
Oh, lord, I'm so there.
So I had a Roman history exam today. If Michael Rosenbaum knew half the images of him I used to help me remember various laws, he'd be mightily embarrased I'm sure. For example - lex Fufia Caninia - Lex with a fluffy poodle under his arm.
Also, do we know how Dr. Swann got the key? I'm very confused by the whole episode, whose name escapes me right now. I think I'll call it The One Where Clark Rips Open Lex's Shirt.
