Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Strawberry disappointment.

Season one.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oh, Jen, have you seen "Bed" yet? That vid cracks me up, the moreso because all the clips are taken so out of context. ("Look! Jack and Sam and Daniel are having the most uncomfortable love triangle dinner ever! ...except in the show, during this scene they're actually discussing diet Coke.")

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where do all these vids live?

Rhian's here. Off the top of my head, if you're looking for SG Destina and Carol S. have some here and Barkley here, though both of those latter ones require you to request passwords.

Excellent. Thanks.

Katie, I loved that one! Although, to be fair, most of the Jack/Sam clips in that vid actually are Jack/Sam in nature. But the "oh gosh, look, we're all uncomfortably in the room together" is hilarious.

I always feel awkward talking about vids too publicly because of the bandwidth issue, but... anyone else seen the Daniel-centric vid to Prince's "Get Off"?

Plus it wasn't until I'd seen it several times that I realized that the person who Jack eventually finds to bed? Teal'c. Go Teal'c!

Er. No. Whose is it?

I can't get to Rhian's from work, but I'm plowing happily through Barkley's.

I'm in love with Jack all over again -- RDA has the most expressive and crisp of hand gestures. Beauty.

Pam S., at Versaphile. "Dead" is really funny too.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I adore vids, but weirdly enough, I haven't seen that many from SG fandom that liked. Most of S/J and D/J vids I've seen are either 1) really grainy, 2) too schmoopy, or 3) set to generic top-50 chart songs I don't really care for. I love Barkley's stuff though, especially her Teal'c vid. And of course, Stargate Cantina, which is effing hilarious.
