I don't know anyone who's tried to slash Jacob and Jack.
Just as well. It's creepy, and I'd happily slash Jack Bristow and Michael Vaughn.
On related slashy notes -- amchau is writing Thor/Jack. That's so wrong.
I, on the other hand, am curious about Jacob/Bra'tac.
Thor/Jack is seriously just this side of canon. I mean, come on. The handholding! The refusal to abandon each other! The spaceship named after Jack!
I mean, I'm pretty sure it's mostly just Thor with a crush, but still.
Heh, heh. Choking on grapes here.
OK ... need a little terminology help. Gen?

No sex. Especially no creepy alien sex.
Shame on you, Katie.
General fiction. Usually means fiction where romance is not an important part, though depending on the fandom it might just mean there's no explicit sex.
Shame on you, Katie.
Hey, I didn't say I was interested in it as porn, which I am not. I'm just sayin', the idea that Thor's crushing on Jack is pretty easy to support canonically. Much easier than Jacob/Bra'tac.
Gotcha. Thanks.
Tales from the pew: We're reading something aloud in church this morning, and I mispronounce Earth as Ert. Which makes me think of Aeryn calling it Erp in the pilot. Which makes me smile, because I've linked to Farscape from the pew. And then, naturally, Farscape makes me think of Boxed Set. Which, most recently, makes me think of fanfic and J/D slash. So I get a reserved set of the giggles, 'cuz, you know, not really where I expect J/D to pop into my head (ETA: and because I am 12). And then I'm thinking, "Hey! I have that story to read when I get home." And finally, I'm like, "Right. Church. Focus."

Just hand me the can of Scrub-o-Brain, will ya?
