Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Except for Randy Harrison's hair. Which is so bad and wrong and Flock-of-Seagulls.

I saw a print ad with shorter hair on him, which is promising. In seasons 2 & 3, dude looked like a hamster wearing one of Andy Warhol's old wigs.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Puns are the stool of the devil.

Both meanings.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Fargate Fridays was a must-see last year.

I'm not off my rocker.

t I better watch out or I'll be benched, like Patty O'Furniture was.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'd come up with another but pun, but I'm lazy; boy, am I lazy.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Getting back to the Bat-family discussion for a minute (it moves around, doesn't it)?

I assume people voted YES overwhelmingly, then?

(RE: Voting whether Jason Todd (Robin II) would live or die). Actually, the vote was pretty close. According to Comics 101, the difference was about 100 votes.

The Comics 101 website is essential reading for all of you Bat Fans, and readers of comics in general. Not only is there a 9-part examination of Batman (plus a three-part series on the animated series), there is a detailed discussion of Grant Morrison's Animal Man, Alan Moore's V is for Vendetta, and many other (mostly mainstream, though) comics. The current article goes in depth on the Hellboy comics, what with the new movie and all.

Please be aware that if you haven't read the comics in question, you could run into spoilers.

Was just a (bad) joke. Because, see, if severity of the method of killing was based on votes, and he was beaten to death with a crowbar, then it would stand to reason that it got a lot of jokes, using the logic of my joke....

nevermind....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For the record, if you're on acid, don't read a comic with a page like this. Just because it's in your apartment two floors down ... no, that's not a good enough reason.

Just say no.

Didn't they have Jason in a lobster outfit for the last few issues he was in?
