That joke is as old as the Ottoman empire.
Up for a round of furniture puns?
The Joker beat him to death with a crowbar, which tells you how the poll went.
See, I just like this scenario, without disliking Jason. It's angst-making, and unexpected (unless, you know, you voted in the poll), and pointlessly shocking, and exactly the sort of thing that
should
realistically happen to nutters who patrol the mean streets in their long johns. Not that it necessarily came across that way in the comic; I just like a good sacrificial lamb now and then.

I assume people voted YES overwhelmingly, then?
I like the idea of the severity of the killing matching the % of YES votes -- like, if killing Jason won by only 51%, he'd be licked to death by kittens.
Eep.
Yo, Stalker wanters: the one you want is A Lonely Place of Dying.
Hero Reborn, while good, is NOT the Creepy Stalker Meetup TPB.
D'oh.
I really need to index these things, or at least remember which one is which.

I could see the Joker doing this to someone. It would be a slow death, for sure.
I don't think any of Batman's sidekicks/companions have become more interesting than him.
Yeah. I mean, they're interesting enough for their own comics, but man, they wouldn't be interesting to me at all without their relationship with Batman.
If that makes any sense.
He left absolutely no impression on me as Norrington. I can't even call up what he looked like. Too much competition with the elf and the drunk for space in my brain.
I noticed him the third time I saw PotC. Poor fella. Does everything right and still loses both the girl and the guy(s).
they wouldn't be interesting to me at all without their relationship with Batman.
Batman sort of catalyzes their own inner psychos. Er, inner avenging heros, I mean. Yeah.
Some of my local friends have gotten me hooked on Queer as Folk. I picked up the first 6 dvds this weekend and I'm about half way through disc 5. OK, I was babying a cranky knee, which kept weekend tv watching at an all-time high. But even so, this is some addictive stuff. I'm sitting there thinking, "Wow, there's some UST." And then the whole "U" concept goes right out the window. And takes their clothes with it. Yum.

God I love that show. Season four is premiering in a week or two, which makes me ecstatic. Except for Randy Harrison's hair. Which is so bad and wrong and Flock-of-Seagulls.
Up for a round of furniture puns?
As long as we're couching it that way.
(Davenports were apparently named after some guy named Davenport. All I know about it is that Jim Davenport used to play third base for the Giants.)

I'll have to be careful not to go through seasons 1-3 too fast then. For some reason I thought there were more seasons of the show.
Since I already saw the UK version, (spoiler fonted for BBC QaF) most of the plots in S1 US are pretty familiar. Which means that I only re-watched a little bit for the pretty, and I'm kinda pushing through them to get to the bits where I don't think I know what's gonnna happen. I think the Stuart --> Brian transition mapped really well.
