Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Season four is premiering in a week or two, which makes me ecstatic.

I'll have to be careful not to go through seasons 1-3 too fast then. For some reason I thought there were more seasons of the show.

Since I already saw the UK version, (spoiler fonted for BBC QaF) most of the plots in S1 US are pretty familiar. Which means that I only re-watched a little bit for the pretty, and I'm kinda pushing through them to get to the bits where I don't think I know what's gonnna happen. I think the Stuart --> Brian transition mapped really well.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

For some reason I thought there were more seasons of the show.

So did the writers.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Up for a round of furniture puns?

I think we should table any such discussion until later.

Yes, please. This would be an act of chair-ity.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Since I already saw the UK version,

It changes pretty well from the end of season one on; they modified plots from UK to US for that season--well, not only, but mostly. It becomes distinctly different later.

t /being vague and not giving plot points

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Dear god. Nothing can cushion the blow of a Buffista pun-fest.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

But even so, this is some addictive stuff. I'm sitting there thinking, "Wow, there's some UST." And then the whole "U" concept goes right out the window. And takes their clothes with it. Yum.

Yeah. It's a soap opera. With boys kissing. What's not to love?

With boys kissing.

And boys doing...other things. Growr.

I will be cheerily BTing the fourth season, because this waiting for DVDs things bites.
