"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Maybe Clark should have mentioned the implication that the ship might be doing some frying of his nearest and dearest if he hadn't blown it up?

It's a remora, dimwit.

Helen just had this evil sort of smile when she was shown on the plane, and evidently she'd just went an 180 degree shift in opinion on Lex. She went from feeling betrayed that he'd stolen Clark's blood to okay with marriage very quickly.

Missing in action since 2002...

I thought Angel was on last night, so I flipped the WB on at 9 p.m., only to see Clark talking to a large glowing floating talking egg.

Clark went to the Smallville Denny's?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Who the fuck was Lex marrying?

The woman that will cause him to turn evil. It could be her betrayal or her death.

IJS, completely unspoiled. I figure something has to push him over the edge.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I'm thinking it could be Pete, extremely well-costumed, willing to do anything to protect his best friend from Lex and the Luthors, since even going after his father's creamed corn factory was taking it too far.

Art Crawl!!!

You know, last night I noticed a strange resemblance between Pete and Lana.

I'm not sure how Lex's mysteriously disappearing wife will turn him evil. It will be interesting to see. (Maybe that's her skeleton in the promo.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

If Helen disappeared because she set Lex up and got out, that betrayal could push him toward evilatude.

Can I just mention I find it very disturbing to wander in here and find you all talking about me? :)

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

I have this whole theory worked out where Helen, on the road to Metropolis, was taken over by some evil-mind control type person, possibly Lionel or Jor-El (who's motivation would be that he thought Lex was turning Clark to the dark-hey-let's-blow-up-a-space-ship-side) and a helicopter (possibly Lionel's) will come and rescue her from the plane crash, t mild spoilers ahead, with large dose of silliness leaving Lex alone to become attractively bitter on his desert island, only he'll be resuced by Clark in a colourful, big, and very gay dramatic rescue scene, involving wet t-shirt wearing and many super-strength special effects, and then they'll go back to Metropolis together and have lots of fun wild nights out on the town-- in the process of which they discover pink kryptonite, which you can all make your own intelligent guesses about (or read practically any piece of Clex NC-17 fanfic for ideas).

Only, like so many of the things I really want to see on Smallville, it's sadly unlikely to happen.
