I'm skipping to the end of the thread since I'm completely unspoiled for Farscape. I was browsing Netflix and was thinking about putting season one in my queue, but then I looked at the listing and it's all crazy and stuff! On the first DVD, it's episode 1 and 7! Huh? What? Why? Then it's 2 and 4, 3 and 6, etc. Did the people putting the set together not know how to count? Did they think it would be more fun in random order? Can I watch it in this seemingly random order and still enjoy/understand it?

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
It's something funky about the production order, Rayne.
Rayne, hang on a sec, and I will link you to a couple of useful posts. I had exactly the same reaction you did when I added it to my queue ...

I'm actually getting my first Netflixed Farscape DVD this week at some point.
Season 1 is fine in the dvd order. The only problem with the dvds is the end of season 2, where for some unknown reason they put the season-ending cliffhanger in FRONT OF the three-parter that preceded it. Made no sense.
It was so they could put all of LGM on one disc, maybe.
Cool! Thanks! I'm adding the first disc to my queue to try it out. If I like it, I'll add more.

Yes, but it's STUPID.
ADV has been very good to us, but I'd like to have words with the guy who thought it'd be a good idea to put DMD before LGM.
Hee. I love how we always come back to the season one dvds. They annoy *everyone.*

I share the Lana-hate, but I was going by the Chloe's not canon, and, in theory (and assuming she isn't Lois), we're heading toward some version of or variation on canon.
You know, I've always liked the idea that Chloe took Lois Lane as her pen name.
