All is well that ends in pizza.

They said tonight that the new season of SG1 will start in July.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When does Atlantis start?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

July.

From SciFi's website:

Stargate Atlantis is slated to premiere in Summer '04, in tandem with the Season Eight launch of Stargate SG-1,

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I believe SG-1 premieres on July 9th and Atlantis (or, to steal a joke from elsewhere, Stargate Aquarium) on the 14th.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think I am going to refer to it as Stargate Aquarium for now and ever and ever.

Snerk.

So, Farscape thought for the day: Wow, the pilot episode had seriously weird background music, didn't it? I kept getting distracted. (Also I kept thinking things like "oh, come on, they wouldn't've designed the Farscape One with landing gear! It was meant to fly in space!" Apparently I had my logic circuits turned on, which never helps.)

It was meant to fly in space!

You know, that didnt' bother me. I figured the plan was to land on Earth after the experiment. What got me was the helmet that served no earthly purpose. Why wouldn't he have a full space suit on?

Well, okay, if he was going to re-enter in that thing at least that makes some sense of the "see you tonight" thing. (The Shuttle does not do one-day missions! ...I'm okay now.)

Yeah, the helmet was deeply silly. Either go full-on with the suit or just admit that if something happens you're dead and ignore the issue, but there is just no need to dress up like Speed Racer.
