Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
OK, I have to ask. Why is G'Kar (from Babylon 5) on TheWoobie list? I've only watched B5 sporadically, but isn't G'Kar like, the epitome of dignified WarriorDude/WarriorPoet with a touch of "You killed my father! Prepare to die!"? I mean, he'd probably either look at you disdainfully or spit in your eye if you offered him comfort sex.
I haven't read any Wiki's so I don't know about catagorizing him in a certain way. But, G'Kar was put through some pretty torturous seasons on Bab 5, due mainly to Londo. Literally torturous at quite a few points, so that might be why.
And... man, that's the Most Shippy Episode Ever? Um. Wow. Chris Carter could take lessons from these guys on UnderPlaying the Ship. Heh.
D&C? Well, it's pretty high on the list. Anyway, it's the No Really They Want Each Other We Mean It! episode, where the ship became Offically Canonical.
You know what's fun when I'm off on a flex day? Watching a Stargate rerun at 8:00, followed by a rerun McGyver. Man, he was a dork. A kinda cute dork with a great dimple, and I cannot believe this bad chick who runs around doing clandestine work in a huge fur coat.
Oh, the eighties, how I love yet mock you.

Big hair, glam-rock, skinny ties, shoulder pads and Back to the Future.

Sweet!
Well, as to shippy, in most given alternate universes or memory loss scenario, you get J/S.
In their U, with their memories, it's all "you should move on" "we will never speak of this again."
It's so cute I could die.
it's all "you should move on" "we will never speak of this again."
See, now, the latter is kind of cute. The former is... presumptuous.
And what ever did happen to Sam's boyfriend? He's not dead, he's been removed from the universe!
SciFi is airing the episodes in random order, I think. I saw the Death of Apophis arc on Monday and then last night I saw the one which introduced Tanith, which cleared up for me the deal with Peter Wingfield.
But I still don't understand the Tok'ra. They're Gao'uld but they're nice?
And they call Terrans Tauri because?
The former is... presumptuous.
Well, it was her subconscious manifesting as Jack that said it, so it was okay.
I think Sci Fi is airing the eps in three orders -- you have the Monday 7,8,9,10 block, the weekdays at 6 block, and then Fridays you have one or two current season episodes.
Confusing as all hell.
The Tok'ra have symbiotes from a renegade Goa'uld queen -- they're cooperative. And dying out.
I think Tauri is Jaffa for Earth and Earthlings.

Yeah. (Monday at 6 is part of the weekdays at 6 thing, not the other thing.)
Weekdays at 6 is currently in the middle of the 4th season. The four-block on Mondays just started the 5th season. The Friday thing that they put in because everything else they try to show on Fridays fails horribly is the beginning of the 7th season. The syndicated version, which in my market is shown on FOX, is in the 6th season. I'm told Sci-Fi actually airs programs other than Stargate, but I don't believe it.
(ETA: In my defense, I did have to look all that up.)
The Tok'ra get introduced and explained in the middle of S2. Just hang out. It all comes around again eventually.

They used to show Codename: Eternity with my sekrit boyfriend Cameron Bancroft, but Friday's so damned busy with Wonderfalls, Stargate, Monk and Touching Evil. Wait, I think Monk's done. So that's something.
