I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Morituri te salutat, in my pidgin latin, means "He who is about to die (willingly) salutes you"

Oof. You all are killing me. That, plus the "Jack O'Neill moments," plus Martouf's "Samantha ..." (awww, Martouf). Sigh. I even liked the revelatory bits by J/S at the end. Said it before, say it again, I'm a sap. But not all that shippy. It's the team.

Big Stargate ep tonight, there should be a parade.

And poems and songs.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OK, I have to ask. Why is G'Kar (from Babylon 5) on TheWoobie list? I've only watched B5 sporadically, but isn't G'Kar like, the epitome of dignified WarriorDude/WarriorPoet with a touch of "You killed my father! Prepare to die!"? I mean, he'd probably either look at you disdainfully or spit in your eye if you offered him comfort sex.

Also, from the Gateworld: the info about the last member of the Atlantis team, who's, like a female version of Teal'c. Not too much with the originality, the PTB of the show. I liked the actress who played Dr. Weir in the LC1--does anyone know why she was replaced?

Skimming down the page, I found the actor bio section, and realized why the dude who plays the lead looked so frickin' familiar. He was in some S3 Dawson's Creek eps, playing the skeevy sailor who tried to rape Jen. Oy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, that Atlantis page makes me confused as hell about tonight's episode with the Weirness and stuff, but I'm not going to think about it.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

No, but it makes me sad, because I really, really liked Jessica Steen's Weir.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So I watched, um, Upgrades, and deleted it, and then stumbled across D&C, which I realized I'd already seen and that was why Upgrades was so familiar.

Except. I swear in Upgrades when the force shield went down Sam was on the floor. And yet in D&C in the last bit where Jack's testifying again, they're standing up. Is this retconning to show they were "lying"?

And... man, that's the Most Shippy Episode Ever? Um. Wow. Chris Carter could take lessons from these guys on UnderPlaying the Ship. Heh.

I have a plan.

I haven't read any Wiki's so I don't know about catagorizing him in a certain way. But, G'Kar was put through some pretty torturous seasons on Bab 5, due mainly to Londo. Literally torturous at quite a few points, so that might be why.

D&C? Well, it's pretty high on the list. Anyway, it's the No Really They Want Each Other We Mean It! episode, where the ship became Offically Canonical.

You know what's fun when I'm off on a flex day? Watching a Stargate rerun at 8:00, followed by a rerun McGyver. Man, he was a dork. A kinda cute dork with a great dimple, and I cannot believe this bad chick who runs around doing clandestine work in a huge fur coat.

Oh, the eighties, how I love yet mock you.
