"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

No comment on food cravings. (Just finished some ice cream!)

I'm just a little Farscape-bitter. I don't think I enjoyed more than one episode of the last season.

ita is me. And as for the crazy, I find Crichton a lot scarier when he gets all shut down and quiet than when he is yelling. The yelling is NSM with the subtle, and never tells me anything new.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

but neither do I daydream about the characters on the bus home.

Oh, I daydream. Just in different ways. Bad and wrong ways.

Yes, but you're The Enabler. I'm just the Pusher.

I don't think I'll push Stargate, I'm not excited enough about it.

I sympathize with Nutty & ita's Farscape issues. But despite all the problems with Season 4, I still loved John Quixote and Unrealized Reality. (And I kinda love that DK blew them up in the end. It was so stupidly evil. But necessary to counter the shmoop, which had reached diabetic proportions.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I kinda love that DK blew them up in the end. It was so stupidly evil.

See, it just struck me as ... pointless. My caring-meter (I kept watching, because I figured it'd swing up again) went from 10 (of 100) down to -30.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

t Stands with ita and Nutty.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I sort of think that the Skittles treatment could have been hilarious and wrong, if it had been done in the teaser of an episode. As something in the tag (even of a not-season-ender), it was too obviously manipulative and therefore lame. There's hanging a lampshade on your mistakes, and then there's doing the funky chicken with the lampshade on your head.

But despite all the problems with Season 4, I still loved John Quixote and Unrealized Reality.

Except for the rule in Unrealized Reality about "when you go through a wormhole, you jump into the 'you' of that time and place" being *immediately* violated in the very. next. episode.

That said, I liked a lot of S4, but it was my first season. So I had nothing to compare it against (other than the final four of S3, which were right up there with "Surprise"/"Innocence"/"Passion" in my pantheon of Fucking Amazing Teevee).
