Nah. Bra'tac. Tek-ma tay, baby.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who could turn down a Teal'c/giddy Daniel sandwich, really?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh, all of a sudden there's a CBS show called Century City which would be just another "law" show... except that it's set in 2030.

And it has Ioan Gruffudd plus more useful people like Nestor Carbonell and Hector Elizondo.

Suddenly I'm having images of Bra'tac/Daniel, though, and that's just downright odd.

Hey, what happened to the exotic She-Jaffa, anyway?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, it's hard to mistake Horatio Hornblower's cheekbones.

I give it three eps.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The previews of Century City have provided me with no interest to watch it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've seen a bit of the pilot, and it looks pretty dreadful -- the first episode has a couple suing a doctor because their (genetically-selected-in-a-lab-to-be-perfect) kid turned out gay, and he didn't warn them.

when I think batshit-crazy Farscape, I think Crichton employing his insane-fu

Yeah, like that. I tend to pretend Stark doesn't exist, most of the time, and I rather wish the writers had too, especially in season 4.

I think a Good Hamburger is about right for Stargate. Or maybe a plate of spaghetti. It's not stupid, except when the plot demands it, and the acting is competent and the writing and acting occasionally make me laugh. I'm not offended by it, but neither do I daydream about the characters on the bus home. It is what it is.

Pickles do not belong on hamburgers. Bacon and avocado are acceptable. The best roll for a hamburger is a toasted english muffin, yum.

Now I want a pickle. And a hamburger. And some bacon...

The OTPickle is the half-sour dill, which you cannot get in California for love or money. Sigh.

Damn, no burger for me today. I have to have a salad for lunch.
