I hope Adam Baldwin gets to play the part in Stargate:Atlantis.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
More quoty goodness:
Redheaded archaeologist dude: Dr. Jackson is going to die when he sees this!
Adam Baldwin: What, again?
Was he the one with the kid on the way?
askye, the one with the kid on the way was, of course, the first one to get shot dead.
Gotta love cinematic convention.
Well, he's not dead yet.
But yes, it wasn't very bright of him to bring the subject up while on a military mission.
He's not dead yet!
ETA: Crosspost. Of course. To quote Monty Python is always to be crossposty.
Huh. Based on the tricksiness of recent previews, I would be willing to put cash on O'Neill not being the one who dies. I wonder if they'd have the chutzpah to off Danny again.
But yes, it wasn't very bright of him to bring the subject up while on a military mission.
Wrod. As soon as the sonogram picture came out, I knew he was, if not doomed, at least guaranteed a good maiming.
What does the preview say, anyway? (I downloaded the episode - so I get to see the wacky several-months-behind Sky One previews for Angel, but no Stargate ones.)
I can't recall the exact wording, but the voiceover mentions a "loss that will change SG1 forever," all while we see Jack running, getting shot, and falling to the ground (apparently) mortally wounded. Various reactions shots of Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c, looking properly horrified. Then, the clip of Sam in her dress blues, giving what sounds like a eulogy.
