I feel I should point out that Daniel is mentally healthier than John
I've never seen a single minute of SG-1, and I feel fairly safe in agreeing with this.
Pretty much the only character I can think of who *might* be nuttier than Crichton is Drusilla. And possibly Willy Wonka.
Yeah, they hit it hard in S4 - new executive producers - backed off in S5 and S6, and have been hitting it again a bit in S7. S4 was all about their Tragic Love That Can Not Be, though.
Oddly enough, I've seen various friends go through a similar cycle. They'll start as friends, then go through the attracted but not wanting to screw up the friendship, then back to friends, and so on.

Damn. That would be one hell of a crossover.

It was so cute.
And now? This season looks like they're backing off, what with the revelation and her shagging a DeLuise, but the look on Jack's face as he offered her a shoulder in this last ep gets me where I doubt Pete can reach.
Damn. That would be one hell of a crossover.
"Burning baby fishes all around your head...."
"Baby....beacon....becaon....baby!!!"
"Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker."
(And I realize the last one is actually a poem, but Willy Wonka recycled it.)
mentally healthier than John, not than Ben Browder, who I've never met and about whose mental status I have no information. Other than he wrote John Quixote.
Well, and that didn't tell you something?
But, seriously, no, the man's a geek, but he's sane, and considerate, very very well spoken, madly in love with his wife, and really quite thoughtful. The talent, the face, and the fact he looks jaw-dropping in leather pants are just perks.
Browder is one of the few instances where the reality of the actor really supports my fondness for the character. I'll see him in damned near anything, even that awful-looking Behind the Scenes of Charlie's Angels thing that airs next month. (Although I will probably fast-forward through most of it.)

Okay, I thought you were talking about Daniel.
As you were.

Rermarkably sane, intelligent, thoughtful, funny. Makes pie.
Makes you wanna grope his brain and his ass, if you can manage to unfreeze yourself once you realize he's better looking in person.
Regarding Ben, of course, and x-posty with Consuela.
if you can manage to unfreeze yourself once you realize he's better looking in person.
That really shouldn't be legal.
All this, and he makes pie!
So unfair.
