I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

if you can manage to unfreeze yourself once you realize he's better looking in person.

That really shouldn't be legal.

All this, and he makes pie!

So unfair.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

That really shouldn't be legal.

I froze like I haven't done in at least ten years. Saw him approaching. Saw him come to a stop a few feet away. Prayed frantically that I wouldn't get inroduced because I would've said something like, "Buh?"

Geeky fanboy hothothot.

So ... I was in intermittent Farscape watcher for the brief period that we paid for cable in the old apartment after they built a building that screwed up our beuatiful, perfect network reception. I decided, hey, why not Netflix Farscape after I catch up on Stargate?

Who put together the Farscape DVD sets? Because, insane troll logic, is what. Unless I'm missing something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am studiously ignoring the idea that Ben Browder really exists.

As I understand it, Fran Buller's so sweet you can't even hate her for landing the guy, either.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

No fair.

No, you can't. She's marvelous, loves him to death, loves John Crichton too, and when he's out of town and she misses him? She watches the dvds of the show.

JenP, what problem are you having with the dvds? If you're having viewing-order problems, stop by The Snurcher's Guide for help. Season 1 should be viewed in production order, Season 2 in broadcast order. After that, the orders are the same.

They should have dozens of babies to get his genes out into the general populace as much as possible.

Art Crawl!!!

The Farscape dvds are sorted film-date order not air-date order -- they would shoot two episodes by the same director as once and then they would air in other orders.

I don't understand why they chose to package the dvds like that . . .it's as if they forgot that there is arciness. . . you know?
