you can call me bob.

No sign of Adam in the preview.

His was the very first face, decked out in full combat garb - helmet and all - it only lasted a second.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Oh, I missed him! Yeah, so next week!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Damn, I don't like seeing Sam get hurt. 'Cause she's my girl.

I gotta say, closer acquaintance does not improve the lame-osity of the RoboCop!drones. Eh.

Jacob is da man.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

My favorite is the fact that they are apparently not waterproof. No wonder they've got enough of a feeling of inadequacy to need codpieces.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, I'm watching Monk and I think that the actress who played the Penis-head Demon Lady is in it.

Eh? Where was that? I must have nodded off briefly during the interminable slo-mo chase sequences. Didn't he/it tread into water at some point? Although, I bet they sink like sacks of rocks in deep water, what with their Vader armor and all.

The codpieces crack me up. It's to compensate for their teeny tiny brains, I imagine.

Well, it stepped into the (fairly shallow-looking) river and then stared at Sam. I suppose it could be a vampire that can't cross running water, but that seems unlikely.

The slo-mo made me think of Arwen and snicker.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Admittedly, I haven't seen a lot of SG1, but I like the dynamic between Jacob and Sam. Yeah, there are problems and issues, but there also seems like there's genuine affection. It's one of the nicer father and adult daughter relationships on television.

Oh, and apparently the official name of that character from "Doublemeat Palace" is not "Penis-head Demon Lady" but rather, "Wig-Lady".

I guess it doesn't give away the hsq the way the other name does.
