Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Smallville is a small town. Clark has lived there most of his life. If the coach had them hidden in a well or something, then maybe he might have needed to know specifically and needed a guide. It's not like Jordan said, "They're in New York, somewhere near these Park street or lane or something."

Up with the sun

And I repeat: Dumb. as. a. rock. (But pretty.)

If you want a real answer, if he had no idea where they were he would have had to do a sweep of what might be a 20-40 mile radius. Even at the speed of light and with supersenses, that takes a while.

Though I'm still not sure why he didn't leave Jordan behind once he knew where they were.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Still though, gotta a love a good old-fashioned vision exchange, though I'd sort of hoped Lex would be Clark's first.

Or why he sat there yelling for his mom instead of superspeeding PapaKent to the hosptial....

Pretty. But Dumb.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I assumed that it was a grand-child or something holding Lana's hand. . .but doesn't Lana die young?

Not in current Superman continuity (like that really matters). In fact, in the comic mythos, Lana ends up marrying Pete (who is currently Vice President to Lex Luthor's President).

It's a remora, dimwit.

Maybe Lana just never wore sunscreen so she looked really old when she died young.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

So I was wondering when Daniel made the shift from floppyhair to I'm-a-grownup hair, and it's amusing to see this series of episodes where his hair just gets gradually shorter and shorter, like they hoped people wouldn't notice.

Ack, there wasn't a new OC last night, was there?

Is the next new one next week, or the week after???

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Next week.

Phew. OK. I was afraid I'd missed it!
