Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Aww, I love that. And then you get Incredibly Angst-Ridden Daniel later on, so it's a twofer!

The Lex convo in Movies reminded me to look at some Smallville spoilers. Not for this week's, but next week's Sville. Prepare to be stunned by the stupidity of

Pete Ross in Smallville's version of 2Fast2Furious: "Pete gets in over his head when he gets involved in illegal street racing using Kryptonite-fueled cars."

but of course the bigger questions are

Who cares and how does this involve Lex?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Now I have this strange image of Final Destination: For The Love Of Sam.

Lord, she reminds me of a friend's RPG character who was cursed so that any man who loved her died horribly. Which, eerily, was borne out by random events in the games without the GM having to fudge. (This prompted someone to suggest that she show up in a lace teddy at the door of the story's principal antagonist...)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Sorry, I've been really out of the loop: has the second half of the Stargate season begun yet?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

SA, where oh where did you get your tag line?

I think it restarted January 13th or so.
