Just watching the Sentinel. Gott in Himmel, this show sucks! It's awesome! I'm trying to explain it to my roommate: "Oh, yeah, that's vision sex. No, now that's real-life making out. Yes, that is the woman who killed the guy who came back to life in the beginning. No, see, he stops her from shooting the guy. Eventually. Yeah, they're real close friends. You can tell by the, uh, animal spirits. You know, the jaguar. And the panther. And the wolf. Yes, I do think there was a 12-year-old girl involved in the writing, why?"
Isn't it FABULOUS?
Man, I miss it now that I'm working.
So, a Stargate question. Where is Jonas from, and what were the names of the country that were fighting on his world?
Please and thank you!

That was early Fox writing, wasn't it? I miss that show.

Jonas was from Kelowna:

should tell you anything you need to know.
See, that just made me think of [link]
Exactly, Plei! I been looking at several fanfic sites (I'm currently obsessing, not sure why) and first saw it spelled differently. When I saw the Kelowna spelling, I nearly fell over. I mean, I'm from Kelowna! We're very peace-loving, really.

'Xactly! My cousin Cathy lives just outside of Kelowna (Winfield, I think). It's pretty mellow when it's not fire season.
Okay, granted, fire-season this year made it seem like Sokar's hell. But still, no bomb building! No warring with neighbours! (Except for the fact that we're better than them. Can't help it)
t off topic
my parents have a timeshare in Winfield. Which they use as trade to go to Hawaii. Are there right now, as a matter of fact.

Edit: Office topic? The hell? that would be

except apparently that tag doesn't close.

Dude, the mere fact that you
have
a fire-season...
Well, not so much a
fire
season, as such ... who am I kidding? Lots of trees, lots of heat, careless matches and lightening strikes. Fire away!
I had a co-op job one summer north of Kamloops, working for the Ministry of Forests. One weekend I had to maintain radio contact every 4 hours with a firefighting team. It was a strangely intimate experience, standing in my rental trailer, talking and joking with 3 guys fighting heat and dehydration. Pretty amazing. And I do regret that I never joined them in bar when they got back to town.
