When did Magneto have mind control powers?
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
It's been so long now that I'm not being able to recall it correctly -- IIRC one of his lesser appearances in, hmm, Fantastic Four? At any rate, Fred Hembeck referenced it in his spoof of the FF wedding, where the X-Men (old classic version) show up, insult everybody at the roast, then claim to have been mind-controlled by Magneto. For a while among my group of fans, "Mind-controlled by Magneto" was the standard excuse if you'd done an even slightly stupid thing. :-)
(The cable came back in time for the O.C.)
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
meara, IRT next week on OC, I am the queen of rewind and re-watch.
Ah. The gruesome twosome.
Can't wait!
OK, Tru Calling? What happened to the running, huh? Most compelling part of the damn show . . . . And, BTW, quit with the Previously On This Exact Same Fucking Episode of Tru Calling. We get it, the show's an hour long.
Except, Gandalfe, they are obviously hoping to pick up the after Friends crowd. So it makes sense.
Gilmore Girls used to do it too before they moved to their current time slot.
Never mind - too late at night and I don't trust my own thought processes.
Nothing to see here, move along.
They should try making their show not crap.
They should try making their show not crap. That would require more effort.
I am becoming Lex's bitch, btw. His whole "I can protect you" thing to Chloe gave me some weird vibes, because I kept thinking, "And what's in it for you, Lexy, boy? You like the idea of having Chloe beholden to you?" He just seemed like he was about to ask for something a bit more . . . personal than info on his dad.
His line to Lana about him being the last one to comment on falling for the wrong person made me go "And you're thinking about Clark, aren't you!" The Lex thing is the only reason I'm watching this, plus Lionel has this strange sexy/bad/half-crazy thing working for him. What else has that actor been in, because he looks so darned familiar--keeping in mind that the only TV I've watched in the last ten years is X-Files, Buffy, Angel and Discovery et al.
