Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They should try making their show not crap.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

They should try making their show not crap.
That would require more effort.

brillig

I am becoming Lex's bitch, btw. His whole "I can protect you" thing to Chloe gave me some weird vibes, because I kept thinking, "And what's in it for you, Lexy, boy? You like the idea of having Chloe beholden to you?" He just seemed like he was about to ask for something a bit more . . . personal than info on his dad.

His line to Lana about him being the last one to comment on falling for the wrong person made me go "And you're thinking about Clark, aren't you!" The Lex thing is the only reason I'm watching this, plus Lionel has this strange sexy/bad/half-crazy thing working for him. What else has that actor been in, because he looks so darned familiar--keeping in mind that the only TV I've watched in the last ten years is X-Files, Buffy, Angel and Discovery et al.

I have a plan.

When did Magneto have mind control powers?

I'm not too clear on story arc details but it involved Magneto going to Wundagor and finding Bova (I think that's her name), the cow-nanny who raised his children when their mother died. He used his powers on the iron in her blood to make her give him some information. Shortly after that he goes to the moon to 'visit' the Inhumans. All this in an effort to see his new grandchild, Pietro's son.

(geek alert going off somewhere, must run and hide now, you don't know me, we never met)

Art Crawl!!!

The Lionel actor? - John Glover?

I remember him from "Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" where he did an excellent Maryland accent.

Ummm, I think he's done many movies. . . which I have not seen.

Holy--Cousin Mike!

And Spy Daddy was her creepy ex-boyfriend.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Maryland accent

We have an accent? I mean, other than Balmer.

Yes!

Ummm, Holli -- he didn't do this one -- but have you heard the EASTERN SHORE accent? It's . . . unique.
