I think Benjamin looks like Russell did with a lower fat %age, and they kinda hulk, although McK is wee. Not so much with the acting.

Unlike many, I think Ben does pretty well with the acting. Has some "wow, first TV" hiccoughs, but I'm totally adoring the character. His main problem is Adam Brody, who's just continually on fire. AB's the lynchpin of the show, what elevates it above what it probably was on paper.

And will there be no follow-up on Rebecca Morgan? This pregnancy probably isn't going to help her dancing career, and her waittressing job might make it very difficult to support a baby. And the father of the baby can't stand her. There's a happy ending.

Not to mention, preventing a suicidal moment is NOT the end of the work. It is the beginning, and often part of a cycle. Do you know how much info there is on talking down a suicidal person, and how little there is about how to help them long term?

WRT the firefighter, at the end Tru realized that (for Nick, anyway) it WAS about the little girl and not him. He didn't ask her to help him again, so either TPTmakecorpsestalkymeat or he realized it was "his" time to go.

Okay, but "natural causes" can make it iffy. What if someone died at age 12 of a burst appendix because the they couldn't get treatment soon enough. Or they were purposefully infected with a deadly disease. Or eaten by bears. Even fire is kind of natural. Maybe if instead they made it that just certain dead people can talk to Tru. TWOP pointed out that in pilot her brother said something about dead people having spoken to her throughout her life. Or that it's just people who didn't want to die who had the luck to be brought in at the beginning of her shift. Or else she might end up with someone who died as a result of euthanasia who wouldn't exactly benefit from just going back one day to change a few things.

I love Ryan, too, but were any actor but AB in Seth's role, I don't think it would be enough to get me to watch. Their chemistry, and not even in a HoYay way, is pretty remarkable and rare.

I don't think that everyone that comes in and died of unnatural causes is going to speak to her -- they haven't so far. So she gets to see all of them, is spoken to by a subset.
