I wanted Smallville to be better. And yet. Of course it wasn't.
If J* was seen by the cop when he saves Louise the first time, wouldn't the cop have rememberd him Dexter mentions him. Thus making Dexter have plausible doubt.
I hate when the plot holes are able to be seen from MILES away.
Edited: Okay, I take it back about the big giant holes. Now they are mostly improbable holes.
I can't believe they didn't have the decency to
not
play "I Only Have Eyes For You".
I'm a bit fuzzy on some Superman lore. Has Hiram Kent ever been mentioned in the comics, or were they able to invent him out of whole cloth?
About the only quality scene in tonight's episode was the one with Chloe and Lex. The (lack of) acting killed the rest (except for the Lex-Lionel scenes, which were dragged down by their obviousness).
Did you SEE that Duke Boy belt buckle "that Dad always wore"?!?!?!
I nearly WET myself!

I totally agree that this was the best scene. In fact, I looked at Lori and said, "Hey! That scene didn't SUCK!"
Ignore me. I'm completely confused.
I was bummed that there wasn't a Lex/Clark scene.

I haven't watched yet, and now ... I'm less eager.
Cancer Man! The Mayor of Smallville is Cancer Man!
Gosh, I miss good X-Files.
Am I wrong for not believing a thing Lionel says?
I said to my cousin, who was watching with me, "the fact that the storyline is about star-crossed lovers, told in flashbacks, and affecting people in the present...nah, nothing like Buffy."
A second later, I turned to him and said "Do you think Clark will scrub himself like Angelus did?"
