And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

I wasn't sure. Though it doesn't seem that Ma and Pa Kent, with their history of money problems and the family history of flipping trucks would spend so much on one for Clark.

I'm surprised there's an insurance company left in Smallville that would insure another truck for the Kents.

Did Clark actually get a Big Blue Truck? Because I could swear I saw it in one of the post-dream scenes.

I thought it was only in the dream. The scene where they gave it to him certainly played like a dream sequence.

Art Crawl!!!

Clark stole the entire bottle. Well, he would, wouldn't he?

It's a remora, dimwit.

The only way I can rationalize stealing a whole bottle and not just a pill as not being stupid would be if Clark were planning on using them on his enemies, or people he just wanted to have his way with.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Maybe Clark un-crunches the trucks the way normal people do with 2 liter bottles when they play fetch and the dog squashes them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The only way I can rationalize stealing a whole bottle and not just a pill as not being stupid

This is Clark you're talking about -- no need for it not to be stupid.

Clark's behavior is having me wonder if he was exiled from the home planet for being stupid. Or if this is some survival method by his people - they lack the mental capacity to raise their own children, so they send them off to other planets where at least they'll be stronger than everyone else.

It was a liquid.

Plus, grabbing a bottle is faster and provides more info than grabbing a pill or pouring liquid onto something and having it chemically analyzed.

Plus, yeah, this is Clark.

I was figuring he planned on having it analyzed, because just stealing one bottle wouldn't really harm the uncle's ability to keep her drugged. I wasn't sure if the bottles were labeled - or he could have just tried to remember the specific name of the chemical.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I believe that it's Gary Graham of the 'Alien Nation' T.V. show.

I don't think that was Gary Graham. I certainly didn't recognize him. Not that I would complain if he got a part besides The Bitchiest Vulcan Ever on Enterprise.
