Dude, with Wallace & Gromit you budget yourself, savoring each one and waiting a while to enjoy the next.
But I'm talking about Creature Comforts, not Wallace and Gromit.
If you're referring to the Aardman Festival, I don't think it had any Wallace & Gromit (it did have the original Creature Comforts, and some of the CC commercials) - I saw it when it was out, which was a couple five years ago. The subsequent DVD definitely had no W&G.
On the plus side, 2010 Daniel finally got a new pair of glasses.
In theatres, the Aardman Animation Festival ended with A Close Shave.

There's a DVD?
This is the one that starts with the deeply weird college thing, which involved a window and, like, someone getting eaten? The one that I commented afterwards "I was not high enough for that part"?
Ooh, I want it.

Gracias - I was doing a total memfault. I know the DVD didn't have that or the commercials, but I think everything else (including the indelibly weird Not Without My Handbag) from the festival was included.

The first short in that collection was Wat's Pig, but I think the one you're thinking of is Ident. That one, along with Pib and Pog, were my favorites. (Though Rex the Runt runs a very close third, and the Nick Park ones are kind of in a category of their own.)
[eta: Many of them are online here]
Ooh, thanks for the link!
Ident does sound vaguely familiar as a title.
Edit: Pib and Pog made me laugh like a loon. So funny.

It's as though once everyone looked like a science nerd, looking like a science nerd was no longer enough of a statement. So he went with the glasses for a little bit of eclat. A little sizzle. A little... yes, my hypothesis is that Daniel's on Queer Eye for the Grey Guy by 2010.
ETA: On the cast. Carson would have been euthanized already. It would have been only fair to put the poor thing out of his misery.
GG - -good; but not great.
Nip/Tuck -- loved the ending -- couldn't think about how they were going to get out of that but when Eschobar (Escobar?) shot the anesthesiologist, I really wanted Sean to use the scalpal in his hand to go after him. I guess that wouldn't have worked. The other twist -- was was kind of "eh" about.
