Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm starting to suspect that all of Smallville is under the Monks' spell. Because they keep kind of figuring out that there's a connection between Ben Clark and Glory Weird Shit in General, and then sort of forgetting about it as soon as they turn the next corner.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Watching KAREN SISCO. This should have been the pilot like it was intended. Stupid programmers.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Wait, so you're saying there's some sort connection between Clark and the meteor rocks?

And Lana's parents are-- gasp-- dead??

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did anyone catch what Lex said in the promo for next week? Something's over?

I love him. He's delicious. Why is Clark the wet one next week?

Missing in action since 2002...

Chloe knows

Chloe does not know. I think she suspects, like Lana, but the only true confirmation that Chloe got about Super!Gay!Clark was when she was hopped up on Red Kryptonite and she forgot it when she stabalized.

Up with the sun

I think Chloe and Lana both know something's up, but they're in denial. Plus, "the guy I like is a superhero from another planet" is not something you're gonna guess right off.

Are they doing super!Lex, now? And if so, why the hell did they have to steal it from Unbreakable?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Did anyone else get a snicker when the cop looked at Clark's bloody shirt and Pa says "barbed wire accident"? or is it just my sense of humor taking a detour?

Art Crawl!!!

That was a good Karen Sisco!

I think that when Lyon's Den dies, Kyle Chandler should join Karen Sisco as some sort of cousin on her dad's side -- because he and Robert Forster have this resemblance.

Did anyone answer ita's question about Nip/Tuck?

No, you did not miss any episodes. They appear to have RUSHED to an end and skipped muchly. I don't know what happened. (Maybe in addition to the drug kingpin stuff they will attempt resolution of this next week.)

So, was Smallville good? Did I miss anything incredibly important?
