I'm starting to suspect that all of Smallville is under the Monks' spell. Because they keep kind of figuring out that there's a connection between ~~Ben~~ Clark and ~~Glory~~ Weird Shit in General, and then sort of forgetting about it as soon as they turn the next corner.
