I had to stop reading when the overviewer(?) says that Faith was the slayer called when the Master killed Buffy. I mean...Kendra was no Faith, but you just can't skip right over her.

I think the Homicide one may be the best so far, just in presentation. It's clear, concise, not too snarky, not too full of in-jokes.

It's like the TWOP recaps -- if you don't *like* something, then don't recap it! Save yourself the apparent hell of watching it, and save us, the humble readers, the fist-shaking.

This is where I would normally go on a "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I know this. But. Why does everybody have to hate Dawn? What's with all the Dawn-hate? By Season 6 she wasn't as whiny. And she was tough!" Rant. But I have to go home. So I won't.

The change in Dawn was like going from necrotizing fasciitis to plain old leprosy. Oops, sorry, Hansen's disease. Not enough of an improvement to dispel the hatred.
If the reviewer just doesn't like the show, it can make for anguished reading. But it tends to be that when they love the show the problems bother them much more, so they tend to be more passionate and long-winded about the faults.

I'd heard that the episode was written specifically as a way to get the kiss.
I thought I saw something that indicated that the episode where Daniel goes through the mirror was the one written specifically to circumvent the Air Force's insistence that they can't have a romantic relationship.
I too have spent the summer trying to fill the void in my heart where Buffy once lived. Stargate helps, but for a girl who loves her layers it's less vidalia and more chives.
