Yeah, that was just confusing. (edit, the flashback to the telepathy) And, really, it's a construction site!!! Why not use power tools to decapitate? Sheesh.
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Jon, Willow has used it before, but hasn't it been her initiating it? Have we ever seen anyone contact her like that? And when was the last time she used it? Early season 6?

What Elena said. And in season six, I believe it was only Willow who could communicate with everyone.
Slutting. I'm the queen. I have a tiara and everything (thanks Sue!).
You earned it Candy!
They had almost lost me until the telepathy, that part really worked for me.
Yep, the voice yelled Skip to me. Don't have a clue if it was.
I can accept Buffy initiating comm with Willow. Did Buffy communicate directly with Xander? I can't remember. If so, that would be an asspull.

Here's what bothered me about that whole final smackdown scene. Buffy's gotten her ass kicked twice by Mr. GrrrArrgh. Why did she have the edge this time? Did she put on her resolve face? It's not the first time the show has pulled that, but I've hated that plot device every time they've done it.
I think it would have worked better if they'd used Xander to set a trap ahead of time for the Ubervamp. First, it would make more sense for Buffy to win. Second, it would have set a great example for the SIL's --- Slayer strength can only get you so far. It's using your wits and your friends that wins the big battles. As it stands, the SIL's are still going to feel vulnerable unless Buffy is right beside them.

Yes, yes and yes. Xander was walking behind the protoSlayers during the whole 'Thunderdome' speechifying, and I was sure that he was going to turn a wheel and have holy water come rushing to fill up the depression.
And I think that the three of them were all talking to each other.
I'm all for the notion that Xander had a flame thrower on the side in case Buffy got in real trouble. How's that for yer fanwank.
I think that Buffy was in real trouble when, say, the uberVamp threw her through the scaffolding.
I was waiting for the uberVamp to fall onto some of the shattered scaffolding and stake himself. Then I would have been with you on the lame. I liked the fight scene.
She got too beat up. And I agree with whoever asked (Jon? Sue?) what made her able to beat the vamp this time? She was beaten to shit, and then was able to grab the wire to garrotte him? Dunno. Don't buy it. There should have been more of a plan.
