Hey all...Happy New Year's Day! We went to a very low key party and played Outburst until 1:00. Such a nice shiny day today!

My sun is evil and twirling his mustache. Is yours?

Happy New Year's Day! It is gorgeous outside. We've been having freakishly nice weather lately. It makes me suspicious. I'm not sure what I'm being suspicious of, but I'm keeping an eye out.

Yum. I made blueberry-lemon muffins this morning, and they turned out really well. Maybe I'll go have another one.

B. is still in bed so I haven't had breakfast yet (I don't want to wake him up). He was the DD last night (designated drinker) so he might not be up for a while yet.

Our hostess last night was making these martinis called "Blue Day" which had vodka, that blue alcohol (caracco?), and bitters in it. Looked windexy and Brent had blue lips after 2 of them.

Hee! Blue lips! My blueberries had been in the freezer for a while, and had lost some of their integrity, so my muffins are quite thoroughly blue themselves. It's kind of cute.

I love blueberry muffins. When the blueberries fall apart, it just makes the muffins moister.

Muffins...mmmm.

I had a bit of a headache this morning after just two creamsicle martinis. I didn't follow my own good advice and stay awake until sober, because I was just so sleepy.

I think I should undecorate the tree now.
