A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

But Brent can make a new friend in Griff.

As my brain does one of its very odd twitches and comes up with a filk of 'You've got a friend in Jesus' changed to 'You've got a friend in Griffyn'.

To quote the children's show 'Bear in the Big Blue House'... And I'm not making this up folks...

"Everyone and every thing has to poop sometimes."

I'm none to sure about the concept of chairs or rocks needing to deficate, but who am I to argue with scatology as directed toward 3 year olds.

There's a book from japan called Everyone Poops. Its sequel is The Gas we Pass: The Story of Farts.

Sorry, I didn't mean to start the bodily function discussion.

Thanks for all the fish.

Trudy (I think) told the story of Roseanne (on her short-lived talk show) getting Patrick Stewart to read Everybody Poops aloud so she could hear it done.

Sadly, it looks like my girlfriend isn't going to be able to make it tonight. She's feeling a bit worn out tonight, but hopes to meet people another time.

I, however, intend to be there as soon as I grab some dinner and get The Beast headed downtown. See ya soon.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Nice to see you all last night. The hockey game was fun, and ended in a tie. The Czech second-string goalie was tiny and adorable (his warm-up stuff looked like little kid dances). I want a plush version. Also, his name was "Mensator". I suggested that it sounded like a name for a very smart bull-headed monster.
