Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Just to let Griff know that I have cats - in case of allergies.

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, by the way. Does anyone - and by 'anyone' I mean Megan - have a nice clean copy of Serenity that I can borrow to make a copy of? I have Trudy's tape, but there are some issues with it. Non-fatal, but if yours is cleaner that would be great.

And, Trudy missed last week's Buffy, and YTV didn't rebroadcast it on Saturday. If anyone can bring a copy of that Sunday or Monday so she can see it, that would be much appreciated.

By the way, I called Global yesterday to ask when they will be airing Serenity and the last two eps. The very condescending woman told me that they couldn't air the last two episodes until FOX did (which, really, doesn't Buffy air all the time before the originating network airs it?) and that they have no concrete time to air Serenity, though they will air it sometime. With little or no warning. In no particular timeslot. I asked if viewer interest would change this - she said no. Skeptical, I asked if viewer interest made no difference. Stupid woman was very stupid. She suggested that people e-mail her. I said that we would phone - it makes more of an impact.

So, very long story made not particularly short, call Global, early and often, and ask to speak to the programming manager. Let's get Serenity on the air so we can see it. Okay, yeah, we've seen it, but still.

My copy isn't 100% clean since i used an old tape to tape it (I'm not keeping them) and I stopped it during the credits to make sure that I was taping channel 36 instead of Global. I'll bring it and you can decide if it's ok.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

I have the most recent Buffy (all of Season 7, actually) in .avi format for the computer. I can bring a CD with it if that'll help.

In other news, shutting down the computer to move now. Be back online later tonight.

Hey Elena... B. and I won't be able to make it to your place today (sunday). Sorry about the late confirmation. We'll see you tomorrow at 7 though for sure.

Thanks for all the fish.

So I'll see some of you (hey, where is Ouise?) at 2. Thanks for the tape, Sue. And I know that Trudy thanks you. Megan, I would like to see your tape, just to get the cleanest copy I can.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Here I am! Plans have changed, and Nora and I can now come. Yay! See you 2-ish!

Ouise, let Nora know that I just unpacked the CD that includes the Star Wars Holiday Special. Burning it off onto a CD with a bunch of other wierd vids in order to fill space and I'll be bringing it tomorrow.
